Simply Rent has been granted an Australian Credit Licence by ASIC under the new National Credit Code (NCC) which came into force in January 2011.

These new laws have been put in place to regulate the credit industry and eliminate unfair lending practises.  Renting items is a form of providing credit so to ensure we comply with the national legislation, we reviewed our policies and practises and as a result have been granted a credit licence.  All providers of credit, from the big banks to rental companies like us, should be licenced so that you, the consumer, is protected.

We are proud that Simply Rent has been recognised as complying with the new National Consumer Credit Protection Act.


Simply Rent has been accepted into Membership of the Credit Ombudsman Service Ltd (COSL).

Membership to COSL ensures that we must always meet standards of good practise and act fairly towards you, our customer.  We chose to apply for membership to assure our customers that we take the level and quality of our service seriously.  This gives our customers the peace of mind to know that we are bound to act in accordance with state & federal laws & regulations and relevant Codes of Practice.


All of our rental equipment is “Tested & Tagged” safe each and ever time it is delivered to you.  We are pleased to offer this assurance to our customers and it ensures we comply with NSW government regulations as well as Public Safety and Public Liability Compliance.
